Arizona woman charged with manslaughter in DUI case

A Glendale, Arizona car accident that left one dead is the reason why a Surprise woman is being charged with manslaughter.
On March 9, the 35-year-old woman was driving under the influence when she ran a red light. She was near the intersection of Bell Road and 83rd Avenue when she struck a vehicle. A husband and wife were injured in the other vehicle, one of them fatally. The husband received serious injuries, and was transported to a local hospital to be treated. His 31-year-old wife was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
The woman’s blood-alcohol content at the time of the accident was 0.295. The legal limit in the state of Arizona is 0.08. She has been charged with manslaughter, as well as endangerment.
