A Mohave County woman was arrested in Arizona after she was reported to be driving drunk with children in her vehicle. A witness at a gas station alerted authorities that the woman appeared to be intoxicated and was overheard saying she was heading to Bullhead City with her children.
Mohave County deputies were able to track the woman down on Highway 95. Police stated that she appeared to be intoxicated after she was swerving in the lane, and she was asked to participate in a field sobriety test after being pulled over. She failed the sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence.
The woman’s children, ages 11 and 13, were in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of her arrest. While she was in custody, she consented to a blood test, and her blood alcohol content was recorded at 0.271. This high level classified her crime as an aggravated DUI charge.
