Arizona man allegedly drives drunk in stolen golf cart

A 21-year-old Mesa man has been arrested after he was allegedly driving a stolen golf cart under the influence of alcohol.
The maintenance golf cart that the man was operating was spotted around 6 a.m. by Mesa police near Power and Brown roads. When police approached the vehicle, they noticed that the operator was under the influence of alcohol, and subsequently arrested him.
According to an official document, the alleged drunk driver faces several charges stemming from the incident. He has been charged with an aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, alleged theft of a vehicle, and a traffic violation.
