A 52-year-old Topock man has been arrested in Mohave County after police responded to reports of his erratic driving at 4 a.m. on County Route 1.

As police approached the man’s vehicle, they noticed a strong alcohol odor, and the driver appeared to be heavily intoxicated. He was taken to a county jail on Monday, where he faces several drunk driving charges.

His blood alcohol concentration was calculated, and was determined to be .328 percent. The legal blood alcohol limit is 0.08. The man was more than 4 times over the legal limit. He was charged with an extreme DUI, and a super extreme DUI due to the fact that his blood alcohol level was above o.20 percent.
