What is “Extreme DUI”?
Extreme DUI is an elevated DUI charge that can be issued when a driver is well above the legal .08% blood alcohol content (BAC) limit. If a driver is pulled over, tested for alcohol, and the results show a BAC of .15% or greater, he or she may be arrested for Extreme DUI. The penalties for an Extreme DUI conviction are greater than those for a regular DUI, including a minimum 30 day jail sentence.
